Free Liver Education Expands for Healthcare Workers

We’re delighted to announce that Frontline Liver Care – Empowering Healthcare Workers has been extended, with four additional locations added to our national series of free, one-day education courses for nurses and healthcare workers in regional, rural and remote Australia.

Presented by the Australasian Hepatology Association (AHA) and Liver Foundation, Frontline Liver Care – Empowering Healthcare Workers is one part of a broader program to strengthen liver care across Australia. Funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, the program includes free education for healthcare workers alongside updated AHA nursing guidelines and a new Best Practice Guideline for Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Fatty Liver Disease (MAFLD).
